We had the best sail on the Namaste, a beautiful sailboat whose captains are Kylie and Sean. Seasoned sailors who took us to a great place for snorkeling and then on to Jost Van Dyke for lunch and a swim. There were 11 of us - 6 adults and 5 kids! Plenty of good wind for sailing. Scheduling the day was super easy. Kylie is very responsive. The boat is immaculate and so well organized. We were a group of seven - two dads, one mom and 4 college age girls. We had plenty of room on the boat. Kylie is full of knowledge about the area since she grew up in the Virgin Islands and on boats. She is easy to talk to and a genuinely pleasant person to spend the day with. We felt completely safe with her. She took us to some amazing snorkel spots and a great lunch spot on Norman Island. We brought some of our own drinks and snacks but Kylie had a fully stocked cooler and fruit for us too. If you have something particular in mind, I'm sure that she can accommodate your request but if you are like us and not sure of where to go for the best snorkeling, you will be in good hands. We would recommend chartering with Kylie 100%. I have put off writing this review for a while because I wanted to make sure I gave Sean and Kylie the review they truly deserve. Boat BVI gave us what was genuinely one of the best days of our lives. Sean picked us up in Tortola and immediately made us feel like old friends. Instead of giving us a generic tour, he asked what we wanted to see and built the day around our interests as we only had one day to explore the BVI because we were on a cruise! We explored Virgin Gorda and The Baths, visited Foxy’s, spent time at Willy T’s, discovered beautiful beaches and anchorages, and saw some of the most breathtaking scenery we’ve ever experienced. The Baths at Virgin Gorda was absolutely incredible. Walking through the giant boulders, hidden caves, crystal clear water, and unbelievable views felt like stepping into another world. Every turn looked like a postcard. Then there was Willy T’s. I can honestly say that Willy T’s is the reason the British Virgin Islands became our favorite place in the world. We spent the afternoon jumping off the boat doing gainers and backflips, eating burgers and wings, laughing until our faces hurt, and making memories we will talk about for the rest of our lives. Sean thought of everything. He had drinks on the boat, let us bring our own alcohol, prepared an amazing cheese board with grapes that was absolutely delicious, and made sure we were comfortable all day long. We never felt rushed. It felt like we were spending the day with friends who happened to know all the best places in the BVI. We even got to meet Kylie at Willy T’s while she was out on another tour. We finally got to put a face with the name and even got a cute picture of Sean and Kylie together. You can tell they love what they do and love sharing the BVI with visitors. What impressed us most was how much Sean and Kylie genuinely cared about making sure we had the best day possible. They went above and beyond in every way possible. Their hospitality, local knowledge, flexibility, and kindness made this day something truly special. Before this trip, we had no idea the BVI would completely steal our hearts. Now it is our favorite place in the world. In fact, we loved it so much that we’re already talking about coming back, island hopping again, taking all of our favorite people to Willy T’s, and hopefully even getting married in the British Virgin Islands one day. She gave a solid safety (and fun) intro and off we went. Lovely ride over to Norman’s where we snorkeled the caves. She told a great story about treasures and reassured us about the cave experience. We saw one turtle which was unusual but gauging our enthusiasm she took us to Peter’s island to find more turtles. After seeing our family of 7 (3 generations) confidence in the water, we set off to the Indians to snorkel to the deep side, through the pass through hole and around the whole snorting area. The fish and creatures we saw were amazing. After that we were quite hungry and she recommended the Pirate’s Bight for lunch. After we motored to the Willie T to jump off the stern. She was up for everything, quite friendly and good with everyone on the family. We are grateful for her safety, stories, guiding, connection and knowledge.
